Fighting against Procrastination!

Putting tasks for later is one of the most favorite things we human love to do.
hmm!I'll do this assignment tomorrow, now lets watch a movie instead;well this work is boring will do it later on;call mom,i am really busy today will do it tomorrow...and so on the procrastination goes on.It's a common case of all of us.I do it often to.Well it's pretty normal day to day life. But you over procrastinate and you are trapped or doomed to failure .Procrastination had a great impact on my studies to.Not only that it also had bad impact on my relationship with family, friends and my personality. So one fine day i declared war against it.And everything was back on track,my life again become happy and successful.I started to feel more alive and enthusiastic.SO DID I DEFEAT MY DEAR HABIT OF Procrastinating ?
1)First of all I brought little discipline to my life.Everyday morning little amount of my time i spend in organizing the day .Example: 9am-12:30pm-attain class
12:30pm-2:30pm have lunch with Kartikey.
4pm-6pm:Workout in the gym
7pm-9pm:Finish college assignments
2)Night write down the work that i couldn't accomplish .Believe me it has a great impact on stopping you from procrastinate.Short of confession to yourself about the task not done.
3)If i couldn't meet up to my to-do tasks on the day than i just schedule the the task to next appropriate time seeing that the task gets done.
4)Your thoughts have a great influence on how you work.To get works done think about the good and bad outcomes of your procrastination.I started to be more responsible for my life.
5)Cherish after getting good results due to my hard work .Celebrating success with friends and family.
well if you got few more useful tips against procrastination please let me know.As following the above tips i minimize the amount of procrastinate I used to do but my fight with it is still on.Hope the tips will help you too.
Dear friends Work hard when you work,Play hard when you play.
your well wisher

Your Dreams can be Bad for you

Dreams! We all have dreams about our life.It starts at the very beginning of our life, when we were a kid everyone asked"Dear, what you want to be when you grow up?".Well as time passes our surrounding, friends, family, teachers have great impact on our dreams. In today's world its highly affected by multimedia.Where we often see celebrity, superstars life, fame, money and dream of becoming one.ofcourse these are tempting.
Well, its nothing bad to dream.Actually we all should have our own dreams.
But,it can be dangerous too,it can be a reason of our depression when we dream of becoming something and block all other opportunities that come by and end up being nothing. When we dream we might not be even sure of it.Our dream might be an outcome of peer pressure and other things which is not even our own.So its necessary to keep our mind open to other opportunities  and omens too. While dreaming we  should always keep in mind that at the end of the day money and fame is least important to us.Finding our true vocation, doing what will make us happy, what work it should be for which we will wake up at  early morning with out feeling tired, fully inspired, motivated is what counts.Life is immortal folks.Few years from now  we might have to say goody-bye to this world;so its important that whatever we do in life, we should able to lie down on our death bed with no regrets.Dream, but it should be inside out,not outside in.What I mean is,dream for your self not just because some other person is enjoying that dream.I end this bunch of thoughts by one question that should help you to rethink your dream"Who will cry?when you die!!"
Happy and safe dreaming!!:)

Lets be a writer

                                                     CREATIVE WRITING
Some people can simply sit down to write and have something to write about. For others, finding something to write about can be the hardest part of creative writing. Assuming that you are not in the first group, there are several things you can do to create ideas. Not all of these will work for all people, but most are at least useful tools in the process. Also, you never know when you might have an idea. Write down any ideas you have at any time and expand on them later.
For stories and poetry, the simplest method is to immerse yourself in the subject matter. If you want to write a short story, read a lot of short stories. If you want to write a poem, read poems. If you want to write something about love, read a lot of things about love, no matter the genre or medium. This method can take a long time for people. While it often produces 'inspired' works, it can take a long time to do it.
You can take a different work that you like  and start to copy it by hand until you reach a point at which you feel you would say something different from the actual author. At this point, start writing that and discard the other work. You can go back and change the beginning later. This can be excellent practice, but it obviously produces somewhat derivative work.
You can do a simple procedure in which you pick a word, phrase, object, name or something at random and start writing about it. This is also a good exercise, and it can produce excellent poetry. However, some people have just as much trouble picking a word or writing once a word is picked as they have coming up with an idea.

  How to write

Once you have started a work and have begun to write in earnest, you should remember certain universal writing tips, such as making sure that you write in a non-disruptive environment. Some people find that mapping out what they are writing ahead of time, or preparing rubrics is helpful. While this can help focus your writing, other writers find it restrictive. Experiment to see what is right for you. Most importantly, revise your work and keep copies of the various revisions. If you start to feel that the work is complete, let it sit for a few days and read it again. You will be amazed at how many changes you will want to make. Keep in mind the importance of language and expression, as how you say it can be as important as what you say.

Living by values

Your values are the lenses through which you view yourself
and your world. They are the basis for your thoughts, feelings,
and behavior. Your values are also the grounds for your
self-evaluation and your evaluations of other people. Values are
standards and are experienced as “shoulds” and “oughts.” If you
value Financial Prosperity you believe that you should do what is
necessary to accumulate wealth. If one of your highly prioritized
values is Concern for Others, and a person you know is sensitive
to others, you are likely to see that person in a positive light.
